The Challenge
The hotel was operating with an outdated analogue CCTV system that no longer provided adequate image quality for identification purposes. The management required a complete overhaul of their security infrastructure — covering all public areas, guest corridors, car park, and back-of-house zones — with remote monitoring capability and integration with their existing access control points. The installation needed to be completed during off-peak occupancy to minimise disruption to guests.
Our Solution
TechnoRed conducted a full site survey and designed a Hikvision AcuSense IP CCTV system covering 42 camera positions across the property. Camera placement was planned to eliminate blind spots in all critical areas while minimising the visual impact on the guest environment. All cameras were connected to a central NVR installed in the hotel's server room, with remote access configured for the security team and management via the Hikvision mobile app.
In addition to the CCTV system, TechnoRed upgraded the existing access control at back-of-house entry points with Hikvision card readers and an addressable fire alarm panel was installed to replace the conventional system, providing precise zone identification across all five floors.
