Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 16 July 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the TechnoRed website, as well as enquiries, quotations, purchases, installations, maintenance, subscriptions, technical support and other services provided by TechnoRed.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website, requesting a quotation, purchasing equipment or engaging our services.

By using this website, submitting an enquiry, accepting a quotation, making a payment or instructing us to begin work, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

1. About TechnoRed

This website is operated by TechnoRed Electronics Ltd, referred to throughout these Terms as “TechnoRed”, “we”, “us” or “our”.

2. Our Services

TechnoRed provides technology and security solutions for homes and businesses, including CCTV systems, alarm systems, video intercoms, fire alarms, access control, electronic hotel locks, automatic gates, network infrastructure, telephony systems, central television systems, parking systems, installation, maintenance and technical support.

The exact products and services included in your project will be stated in your quotation, invoice or service agreement.

3. Use of Our Website

You may use this website only for lawful purposes.

You must not attempt to damage the website, gain unauthorised access to its systems, introduce malicious software, submit false information or use the website in a way that infringes the rights of TechnoRed or another person.

We may restrict access to the website where we reasonably believe it is being misused.

4. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on our website is accurate. However, website content is provided for general information and should not be treated as a confirmed quotation, technical assessment or guarantee.

Product images, specifications, features and descriptions may change depending on availability, manufacturer updates and project requirements.

5. Enquiries and Consultations

Submitting an enquiry through the website, email, telephone or social media does not create a contract between you and TechnoRed.

We may request additional information or arrange a site inspection before recommending a solution or providing a final quotation.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is complete and accurate.

6. Quotations

Quotations are valid for the period stated in the quotation. Where no validity period is provided, we may revise or withdraw the quotation before it is accepted.

A quotation may be accepted by signing it, confirming acceptance in writing, paying the requested deposit or instructing TechnoRed to begin work.

Any work, products or services not specifically included in the quotation may be charged separately.

7. Prices and VAT

All prices are stated in euros unless another currency is clearly specified.

The quotation or invoice will state whether VAT is included or added separately.

Prices may change when the customer changes the project scope, additional work is required, site conditions differ from the information provided or the selected products become unavailable.

Any additional charges will normally be communicated before the additional work is completed.

8. Deposits and Payments

A deposit or advance payment may be required before products are ordered, installation dates are reserved or work begins.

The remaining balance must be paid according to the schedule stated in the quotation or invoice.

Payments are considered complete only after the funds have been successfully received and confirmed.

9. Late Payments

Where an invoice remains unpaid after its due date, TechnoRed may postpone installation, suspend non-essential services, withhold undelivered equipment or refuse additional work until the outstanding amount has been paid.

The customer remains responsible for valid charges relating to equipment ordered, work completed and services already provided.

10. Product Availability

All products are subject to supplier and manufacturer availability.

Where a selected product is unavailable or discontinued, we may recommend a reasonably equivalent alternative. We will not replace it with a materially different product without informing the customer.

Delivery and installation dates are estimates unless specifically confirmed in writing.

11. Customer Responsibilities

The customer must provide:

  • Accurate project and property information.

  • Safe and reasonable access to the premises.

  • Suitable electricity, internet and network connections where required.

  • Any necessary owner, landlord or management permission.

  • Information about concealed wiring, pipes or other potential hazards.

  • An authorised representative during installation where necessary.

Additional costs or delays caused by the customer’s failure to meet these responsibilities may be charged separately.

12. Installation

TechnoRed will perform installation work with reasonable skill and care.

Installation may involve drilling, cabling, fixing equipment to walls or ceilings, temporarily disconnecting services and making minor changes to existing infrastructure.

Painting, plastering, decoration, construction work and major electrical work are not included unless specifically stated in the quotation.

13. Testing and Handover

After installation, TechnoRed will carry out reasonable testing to confirm that the installed system is operating correctly.

Where appropriate, the customer may receive basic training, login credentials, application setup assistance or operating instructions.

The customer should report any visible issue as soon as reasonably possible after installation.

14. Security-System Limitations

CCTV, alarm, access-control, locking, intercom, fire-detection and other security systems can reduce risk, but they cannot guarantee that every intrusion, crime, fire, accident or unauthorised action will be prevented or detected.

System performance may depend on electricity, batteries, internet connectivity, mobile networks, cloud services, lighting, maintenance, user settings and third-party platforms.

Security systems do not replace appropriate insurance, physical security measures or emergency procedures.

15. CCTV and Legal Use

The customer is responsible for ensuring that CCTV, audio recording, access-control and monitoring systems are used lawfully.

This may include determining where cameras can be positioned, displaying appropriate notices, controlling access to recordings, establishing retention periods and responding to requests from recorded individuals.

The customer must not use equipment supplied by TechnoRed for unlawful surveillance, harassment or unauthorised recording.

16. Third-Party Software and Services

Some products may depend on third-party software, mobile applications, cloud storage, internet services, licences or manufacturer accounts.

Customers may be required to accept the relevant provider’s terms and pay separate subscription or licence fees.

TechnoRed does not control third-party platforms and cannot guarantee that they will always remain available, compatible or unchanged.

17. Maintenance and Repairs

Regular maintenance may be required to keep equipment operating correctly.

Unless covered by a warranty or maintenance agreement, call-out visits, inspections, repairs, replacement parts, remote support and reconfiguration may be charged separately.

A repair estimate may change where additional faults are discovered during inspection or testing.

18. Warranties and Returns

Products may include a manufacturer’s warranty, subject to the manufacturer’s conditions. Installation workmanship may be covered for the period stated in the relevant quotation or invoice.

Warranty coverage may not apply to faults caused by misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised modifications, electrical surges, unsuitable network conditions, lack of maintenance, environmental damage or normal wear and tear.

Returns of correctly supplied products require prior approval. Special-order, installed, configured, activated or damaged products may not be eligible for a discretionary return.

Mandatory consumer guarantees and rights remain unaffected.

19. Consumer Withdrawal Rights

Where a consumer enters into an eligible distance or off-premises contract, they may have the right to withdraw within 14 calendar days without providing a reason. Certain exceptions apply, including some personalised products, activated digital services and fully performed services.

Where the customer requests that work begins during the withdrawal period, the customer may be required to pay for the work completed before the withdrawal request.

To request a withdrawal, contact TechnoRed at info@technored.com.cy and include your name, contact information, quotation or invoice number and the products or services concerned.

20. Privacy, Liability and Governing Law

Personal information submitted through the website or provided during a project will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements, including the GDPR.

TechnoRed will not be responsible for losses caused by customer misuse, unauthorised system changes, incorrect information, third-party service failures or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Cyprus, subject to any mandatory consumer rights.
